The 2013 Vanquish from Aston Martin

The new Vanquish, Aston Martin, will be marketed in Brazil in 2013 and will be priced above R$ 1 million. It will be shown at the Sao Paulo Auto Show in 2012, running October 24 to November 4, and will be one of the most esteemed cars appearing.

The Vanquish, made by a British Manufacturer, became famous for appearing in the James Bond films. The car was discontinued, whilst Aston Martin was producing the DBS, but is now back and making an awaited return.

Under the hood of the new Vanquish is a powerful V12, 6.0 liter engine that generates 573 horsepower and 63.22 LBS of torque, with a top speed of 294.5 km/h.

With a 6-speed gear box, the Vanquish, which weighs 1739 kg, achieves 100 km/h speed in just over 4.2 seconds.

Compared to its predecessor, the Vanquish has larger measurements (4.72 m long, 2.74 m wheelbase, 1.92 m wide and 1.29 m high) with a larger trunk capacity (368 liters), offering more space and comfort to its users.

There are other changes as well. The hood is shorter and the headlights have a rectilinear design. The spoiler is much bigger than the previous. The side air intakes embody a new design. Also the taillights have changed format and come with LED thread.

The interior of the new Vanquish is luxurious, complete with multifunction steering wheel, airbags, air conditioning, and a premium digital audio system with USB and Bluetooth.

In early 2013 the Aston Martin Vanquish will be sold in America and will soon after be sold in Brazil. According to speculation, the price in Brazil will revolve around R $ 1.3 million, being a strong competitor for cars like the LamborghiniGallardo and Ferrari California.
